At 42 Degrees, we take the safety and wellbeing of our customers & employees very seriously. In the midst of the national pandemic surrounding COVID-19, our staff wants to ensure you that we are taking every precaution possible to prevent community spread.
Please see below the new changes we are enacting throughout our various locations.
To combat the spread of COVID-19, our team will be:
Increasing cleaning efforts:
We are very proud of our clean stores, but there is always more that we can do to ensure the safety of everyone. Like many others, we are taking guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for necessary preventative measures we can execute.
Each of our locations has increased regular cleaning and sanitation procedures, including but not limited to sanitizing counters, doors, and other often touched surfaces more frequently after a customer leaves our building.
Staying home when sick:
As always, the health and safety of our team remains a top priority. We’re encouraging our employees to use their time off if they are not feeling well. A manager will ask the employees to head home if they see any symptoms of illness as well.
Practicing diligent personal hygiene:
We’ve implemented special precautions, such as more rigorous cleaning efforts, to protect our guests and staff within our stores.
Employees will be diligent about washing their hands, pointing out when others have touched their faces, and wearing gloves when handling merchandise.
As we continue to navigate through these uncertain times, we are working diligently to provide our customers and staff with the safest environment possible. During this time, our stores remain open and our hours will remain as usual and open from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. If factors continue to emerge, we will update you on ongoing changes throughout our store.
Thank you for your continued support, and stay safe out there.
